Hey you guys! Just yesterday I recieved a new shirt from one of my upcoming favorite stores online. This site has quite nice modest clothing. Well, I've been searching all over the web for other sites that sell modest clothing as well as more modest swimsuits... well...heres a list of what I've found.

You might have to dig through some of these sites...as some are more on the amish side of dress...some though do have quite cute clothing!

Priority Proposal Thursday

Hello Everyone!
Well... I do have some news. So, this mourning when I was in the shower scrubbing away, I heard this knock on the bathroom door. It scared me a little bit since I wasn't expecting my mom to knock. Anyways....I was all like, "Mom! Is that you?" Well, with the shower running, I couldn't hear her, so I turned off the shower (I was done anyways) I asked again. "Mom, that you?" she replied,"Yes!" she then proceeded to tell me that my good friend Becky asked me to call her right back after I got out of the shower. I thought this a little strange since it was a school morning and still rather earlyish. So, I put on my robe and then proceeded to call my friend. When she answered we said the normal greetings and then she told me that Jason, her boyfriend, had proposed the night before and she had accepted! It was so fun to just giggle with her over it for a little while and then realize that yes, I am infact entereing the age when a young man could forever enter your life to stay. It was quite bizzare to think about and still is. Anyways... she asked me if I would like to be a bridesmaid and of course I said yes! Anyways...there is a tinge of sad news with this story. She wants to have a June wedding and by what she was saying she's thinking the end of June which if I came to Joni camp, that would be around then. *tear tear* But I had to remind myself that it's God's will and not mine. So, I will just have to be content with whatever happens.

This picture is of a group from my church going to a theme park a bout 3 hours away. Becky and Jason are in this picture which is the reason I am showing you. The girl sitting right above me in the green shirt is Becky, and the guy right above her is Jason.

This picture is of Kayla(far left), on of my best friends, Becky(middle) another best friend, and the Jason (far right).

This last picture is of the group of us lined up tallest to shortest. You can try and find the two twitterpated lovers! hehe....

Enjoy!

Cranford

So I have found a new favorite! Yes, it's the movie series Cranford. It has actually caused me to want to read the book. Not that that suprises me at all since I absolutly LOVE to read. Anyways...if you haven't watched them, go to
and watch them for yourself. It will take awhile since there is approx. 5 hrs. or so. Because of this, I have had to break them up and watch them piece with a friend of mine. But they are definitly worth it!

So, to update ya'll on something new in my life that will be starting. This week-end I will attend a bible study called Apples of Gold. It looks quite interesting since it helps teach you meal planning and other cooking techniques all wrapped up with a bible study! Anyways, it meets once a month except for February when we will meet twice. I'll keep you informed on how it goes!

The Celebration of Worship

Our church right now is going through the book of Numbers. On January 6 of this year our pastor spoke His sermon on The Celebration of Worship. It was so good I thought I'd share the outline as well as my notes with you. Enjoy!

The Celebration of Worship

Celebration and joy are a normal part of worship.
Always give thanks to God Ephesians 5:18-20

1. The Priority of Worship (28:1-2)
• The word priority actually means , command, if you’re a true Christian, worship is not an option.
• True worship is God centered, its not about making us feel good.
• When men worship, God is satisfied.
• “He came to make worshipers out of rebels.” Ray Ortland

2. The Pattern for Worship (28:3-15)
• God requires consistency.
• The Israelites worshiped in the mourning, as well as in the evening, though meditation should be all day.
• Sundays are a precious gift of time to offer to the Lord.

3. Practical Lessons from God’s Pattern for Worship -
• God is worthy of our best. (As I was thinking about this in church, I realized that it was because of this reason that we need to dress in our “Sunday” best for church. It is in fact because the Bible commands us to give our best to God. Dressing up for church I believe is apart of this.)
• Worship is the joyful acknowledgment of God’s worth.
• Communion with God is not cheap.
• Present your bodies holy and acceptable to Me for it is your reasonable service.
• Don’t try to scoot under the wire with little to no worship of God.
• Worship is not apart of the Christian life, it IS the Christian life.

Sew What! Skirts!

Hello all! So, I am very excited....I just made a purchase of a book called.
I am quite excited as I have been having a lot of trouble finding modest yet cute skirts. I've been dying (sp) so have a long jean skirt, but alas, I have not been able to find one. It is such a sad state that our society is in when a girl considers 3 inches long of fabrid wrapped around her waist is a skirt. Sickening if I may say so herself. So, this said, I've decided to be adventurous and try to make my own skirts. Not only will they have my own touch of style, they will hopefully be modest and look good on! I will keep you updated as to how they turn out and if the book is worth it's money!
So today, I worked in the nursery instead of sitting in on the sermon. Being in the nursery is quite hilarious....you get to see all the children acting bizirk all at once! Quite ammusing! When we only had about 5 minutes more left before all thier parents came...I had just finished picking up when I see one of the girls, she's 3, start throwing all the little dished all around the room. grrr.... anyways...I calmed myself has just went and got her sister who was in the nursery working as well and she gave her a little talk about picking up. It was quite hilarious actually.
So tomorrow is a holiday, Marting Luther King Jr. day. I have no school, so I am very excited!
Well...I'll have to say adios for now! But....I shall be back!

Well...I thought I'd share some pics of my family and how things are going. My oldest brother, his wife, and thier two kids are doing divine! I absolutly love being an auntie!

Lets see....as I haven't talked
to

My lovely mother and baby Zach! Hey Olivia, there's a brand new pic of my mom for ya! Now you know what she looks like (Now) not ten years ago! hehe....;)
